Shooting facility manager
Description of role:
The Shooting Facility Manager will be responsible for developing and managing new shooting opportunities within Bisley Shooting Ground. The role involves overseeing commercial operations, managing events, coordinating staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include:
Developing and managing new commercial shooting experiences, including corporate events and bespoke training packages
Overseeing the operational management of new projects, ensuring high customer service standards and safety
Managing and coordinating instructors, range staff, and administrative teams for seamless event execution
Driving revenue growth and brand development in collaboration with key stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with all firearms regulations and health and safety requirements
Working with the marketing team to attract new clients and expand Bisley’s offerings

Guildford, Surrey (on-site)
Required qualifications:
Experience in operational management within a shooting, outdoor sports, or events environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Understanding of business operations, including budgeting, sales, and marketing
Passion for shooting sports, with personal or professional involvement in the field
Ability to work weekends as part of a five-day working week
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management within a shooting environment
Full UK driving licence
Must not be a prohibited person under Section 21 of the Firearms Act
Desirable:
Experience running shooting events or coaching professionally
Established industry connections in the shooting, hospitality, or corporate event sectors
Firearms certification or relevant shooting qualifications
Benefits:
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year (dependent on experience)
