The GTA is keen to encourage exports by members with business of all sizes.
To assist those who may not yet have the resources for a stand of their own at Shot Show 2019, the GTA is setting up a 'Small Business Showcase' on the British Pavilion. Designed to offer these companies a promotional opportunity in the important and potentially lucrative USA market, the 'Export Primer' is a cost effective first step on the export ladder.

When we deal with government departments and politicians we need to represent your businesses, your jobs and your livelihoods. We therefore rely on this sort of information to be able to protect and promote the gun trade.
Let us know how we are doing. We are in times of change and we must provide you with the services you require. Please help us to keep in touch with you by entering the contact information for your business.

The Bill was due to have its report stage and third reading on Monday 22 October 2018 but this has now been postponed to a date yet to be announced.
Despite previous assurances the Government has now changed their mind and are proposing to proceed with a ban on rifles with a muzzle energy of more than 10,000 ft lbs (13,600J). This will effectively ban .50 calibre target rifles.
The GTA has sent an Update (11/10/18) to all its Members encouraging them to email their MP with details of an amendment to oppose this ban. By providing MP's with complete information and urging them to support the amendment we can make our voice heard.
If you are not currently a GTA Member and would like to be involved in this and future initiatives, APPLY NOW and add YOUR VOICE to that of the GTA...
