Section 5 Machinist Operator

We are looking for a Machinist to work at our Section 5 Lingfield plant in Surrey and join our highly skilled team. The opportunity for ongoing, advanced training to the right candidate.

 

Main skills required are:

 

Able to set up and use manual Bridgeport type milling machines Able to set up and use manual lathes and capstone lathes
 

Additional skills would be useful, or willing to learn:

 

Able to set up and use welding equipment , MIG, TIG ( ac/dc ) and stick MMA
Cutting materials using band saw or angle grinder Deburring , fettling, and sanding using power and hand tools to the required finish
General workshop duties, as needed
 

Must also meet the following requirements

 

Clean current driving licence
Checkable work history (References will be sought)
No criminal convictions (Police check will be done)
Born in the UK (NV2 procedure in place)
Mature attitude to work and time keeping
Knowledge of firearms an advantage
Must be 21 or over
