Description of role:
The Range Safety Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the ranges, ensuring safety, compliance, and smooth running of activities. Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring and controlling range safety, access, and movement.
Conducting range inspections in line with MOD standards.
Supervising shooters and ensuring adherence to Bisley Range Regulations.
Coordinating with external teams, including MOD, Defence Deer Management, and Surrey Wildlife Trust.
Providing solutions to customer enquiries and complaints.
Responding to and managing range incidents or emergencies.
Place of work:
Bisley Camp, Brookwood (near Woking), Surrey. Applicants must have reliable transportation to the site, including on Sundays.

Required qualifications:

Previous shooting experience.
Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Assertive with excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure environments calmly and effectively.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
MOD range qualifications (desirable).
Benefits:
Salary: £29,000–£32,000 per year (pro rata).
