Based in Hertfordshire, Atkin Grant and Lang (AGL) is a sporting clay target shooting venue covering sixty acres of woodland and open ground, a gun shop, shooting lodge with corporate events facilities and workshop.
We are currently looking for a shop assistant to join the team in the gun shop on a part time/flexible basis with the potential for a full time role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with general enquiries in the shop to include sound advice on sales of guns and cartridges.
Booking guns in and out of the register for sale, storage and repair.
Maintain records on the gun register and till.
The right candidate should:
Ideally have some experience in the gun trade, but if not be willing to learn the systems eg. Gun Trader (training provided).
Ideally hold a valid shotgun and/or firearms certificate.
Have an interest and sound knowledge of guns, clay/game shooting and firearms law.
Have a polite telephone manner and basic IT skills (Word/Excel/Outlook).
