Extension of General Licences

Wednesday 18th December 2019

The three licences GL26(Carrion Crows), GL28(Canada Geese)and GL31(Wood Pigeon) that end on 31 December are to be granted for use subject to licence conditions, until 29 February 2020. They are unchanged, apart from being issued by Defra, rather than Natural England.
GLs 34, 35 and 36 end on 29 February 2020 and we will be in touch with next steps in the New Year.

Owing to their poorer conservation status, lesser black-backed and herring gulls were not included in Defra’s general licences. Natural England will be in contact with stakeholder organisations in January with more information about future licensing arrangements. The air safety Class Licence (WML-CL12) will be reissued on 1 January
